You could simply attach your unit to the wall, the wall to ceiling, the floor to ceiling, and more.
One isn’t better than the next, it’s just about what’s right for you.

I think the old adage is, the more shelves there are, the more items they can hold.
Make sure you have as many as you need.

If you’re planning to use glass shelves, we recommend having a brass support every 36” for 3/8” tempered glass.
If you’re using a different material for the shelves, that might change.
